Organization Level:
1. Go to Activity Settings.
2. Deselect Enable Activity Reminders under Activity Settings Salesforce.
User Level:
1. Go to My Settings or Activity Reminders under My Personal Information.
(or)
2. Disable Show reminders under Activity Reminders.
