Error: myRule_1_A1 (Action Call) - We can't find an action with the name and action type that you specified.

If you face this "Error: myRule_1_A1 (Action Call) - We can't find an action with the name and action type that you specified.", follow the below steps

1. Check the log of the deployment.

(or)

Go to deployment status to see the error message.


2 You will be able to find the name of the component which is missing in the target organization. The component may be Email Alert, Flows, Task, Field Update or Outbound message.

  1. Sadly, this can happen in the sandbox/org it's developed in, while trying to clone an existing (working!) process. Fantastic.

  3. i had this problem and my weary old eyes could not find the missing component(s). So what I did was in the target sandbox, I manually recreated the process builder. When I went to add my email alert component and again when I went to set an Owner Queue, I found in the target sandbox, these files were missing, so I added them back into the source sandbox and remigrated to the target and it finally worked !!!

  4. I've just had this problem and it it's been solved doing the following:

    Add components used by the process. In my case: workflow e-mail alerts, Apex class with New Invocable method and org wide e-mail.
