If “Failed to login: Failed to send a request to https://login.salesforce.com/services/soap/u/30” error occurs during Salesforce deployment using Apache Ant, replace “https://login.salesforce.com” with “https://www.salesforce.com”.

Check whether your are in proxy network. If yes, set the proxy.
